Sentence Starters

Subject:The Cat played with a ball of string. The stupid boy stared at the sun and became blind.

Prepostional:Over the chair the cat jumped. Behind the clouds the sun shone brightly.

-ly:Clumsily the girl tripped down the stairs. Slowly the turtle won the race.

-ing:Running away from the wolf was hard work. Swimming is fun for dogs and people.

-Clause:Because he was nervous everybody laughed at him. Although she was sad nobody cared.

-VSS:He was tired. It was the end.

-ed:Discovered, the criminal turned himself in. Filled with anger she stormed to her room.
