Okay.... so this is my most embarrassing moment, it was back when I was living in England. I'm pretty sure I had just started grade two and I was in a completely new school! My Mom had to literally drag me into school.... I was kicking and screaming, since I'd always been scared of starting at a new school. The reason why... was because I didn't make many friends at my other school or if I did, they would all betray me. Anyway... no matter how hard my Mother tried, I still would not go through that door! Now at this time everyone was staring at me... and I felt like a complete fool. I think some kids were laughing at me. I really didn't care, I just wanted to be at my old school with my other friends. Even if they did kind of bully me.... After most people had gone inside a boy came up to my Mother and I. He said his name was Liam... Liam Lloyd. He reassured my Mom that he would stay with me through out the whole day, and make sure I made plenty of friends! My Mom nodded and told me everything would be okay. I gave her a big hug! As I walked into school with Liam, I looked back to wave good-bye... but my Mom had already gone. Liam looked at me.
"You want to be best friends?" He asked. I wasn't sure what to say. I never truly had a best friend... since I realized I couldn't trust anyone! I looked back at him.
"Er... yea! I'd love to be your best friend!!" I was really happy!
"Yea! You're cheeks are red!" Liam pointed out. We laughed! Now that I was happy, he walked me to the teacher and told him who I was. I knew what was coming next... introducing me too the class!! He told everyone to sit down in the Carpet Corner.
"Class...." He began. "We have a new student in the class." He paused and everyone looked in my direction. I turned bright red.
After lunch we had Gym. We ran through an obstacle course. Under bars. Over chairs. It was really fun. My teacher bought out all of the gymnastics equipment. He told us not to jump off of the really high ones. Next thing you know, there's screaming. Because my friend had broken his arm. Although the teacher had specifically told us not to do anything silly!
3o'clock was the time we left school. My Grandma was going to pick me up from school. I couldn't see her car anywhere! This is exactly what I did to look for her. Behind bushes. Beside other cars. I even looked under things! She was NO where to be seen. Quickly, I began to get worried. Everyone in the school had almost gone. Sadly I walked down and sat on the brick wall. While I sat there, a shadow appeared over me and a hand patted my shoulder. Slowly I walked up to see my Grandma! I was SO happy! I asked her where she'd been... she said she just had to stop at the store and get me something nice to eat! After opening my chocolate bar and taking a bite I told her about my new best friend. Smiling, she said that she was happy for me! I gave her great big hug... and we were on our way home!
